My name is John Maxie. I live in Eunice, LA. Over the past 10 years my life with my wife has been riddled with one financial or health crisis after another. I would like to share some of those things with you. I had three heart surgeries in a three month period. A doctor gave me a internal defibrilator and t6he wires came out and shocked me. I had the wires put back in my heart and thay came out again. I had the device replaced with a pacemaker/defibrilator. My heart has a myriad of problems including CHF and enlargement. Due to all of those problems Our income dropped off and we fell behind on the mortgage. Needless to say it was an adjustable rate mortgage and we lost the house to forclousure. My stepdaughter blaims me for her mom losing the house she grew up in. I have not been able to work for the past two years because of my heart. My diability appeal hearing is due this September. My wife is an LPN. She has been a nurse for over 15 years. She is the most caring nurse I know. She specializes in Nursing homes and really loves her residents. She took care of my Dad a few years ago while he was dying of Cancer. I Love her very much and want to see her have a better life. She deserves it. She has done some home studying and passed a few test toward her RN nursing license. But because of her needing to work full time untill I get disability she does not have the time or money to attend school full time. She wants to continue her studies from home but the money is not there and because of our past money problems our credit is shot. I am seeking for her a way to help with the financing of her education so that her dream of becoming a RN can come true. We are a proud couple with a deep faith in the lord. We dont ask others for help and we help others when we can. I guess what I am asking here is there anyone out there who can figure a way to help my wife pay for her studies so her goals can be reached. We have tried student loans, goverment grants, and federal financial aid. Nothing and no one wants to help. I pray that this post reaches someones heart and help arrives.
